As with many of us Covid 19 really affected the business I was in and in March 2020 home we all went, not knowing what the future held. Over the past 20 years I have helped a number of businesses improve their day to day processes with some simple tweaks and a different view of their normal world. So when redundancy struck again and my whole Supply Chain Team were put at risk I took the opportunity to set up Tyne SCM Ltd. With over 25 years of finance, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and supply chain experience and definitely no stranger to change and risk it seemed like now or never. Kim came to the role with a wealth of experience in international procurement and team management, running the logistics (global shipping including cold and hot chain, incorporating good distribution practices), warehousing (24-hour shift and day teams) and procurement (global purchasing with a multimillion-pound budget).
